Zero tolerance
The following result in immediate permanent removal of the account and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement. No warning is given:
- Any sexual content involving minors, including grooming, sexualised images of minors, or attempts to contact a minor for a sexual purpose.
- Threats of violence or credible incitement of harm against a person or group.
- Terrorist or violent extremist content, or recruiting for such organisations.
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation or prostitution.
- Sale of illegal goods, including drugs, weapons or stolen data.
What is not allowed
Sexual content and nudity
- Nudity, sexual acts, or sexually explicit text or images.
- Using Losta to solicit sexual services, sell sexual content, or promote adult platforms.
- Sharing another person's intimate images without their consent.
Harassment and hate
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, doxxing or repeated unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop.
- Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Encouraging anyone to harm themselves or others.
Honesty and identity
- Impersonating another person, a brand or a member of our team.
- Creating an account if you are under 18, or misrepresenting your age.
- Using someone else's photos as your own.
Spam, scams and commercial activity
- Advertising, promoting products, or recruiting for other platforms or services without our written permission.
- Fraud, investment or romance scams, phishing, or requests for money, gift cards, vouchers or crypto.
- Posting the same content repeatedly, or using automation and fake accounts to gain followers or attention.
Platform integrity
- Trying to bypass our age check, safety features, bans or rate limits.
- Scraping the service, reverse engineering it, or uploading malware.
- Recording a call or conversation with another user where doing so is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
- Sharing other people's private information, such as their address, phone number or workplace.
How to report and block
- In a chat or a call: open the menu at the top right and choose Report or Block.
- On a post or comment: tap the menu on the post and choose Report.
- On a profile: open the user's profile and choose Report or Block.
Blocking is immediate and mutual: neither of you can see or contact the other afterwards. You can also report by email at support@yaokemon.com, including a screenshot and the user's display name so we can find the account.
How we enforce these rules
| Severity | Typical action |
|---|---|
| Minor or first-time, causing no serious harm | Content removed and a warning. Repeated behaviour escalates. |
| Serious, or repeated after a warning | Account suspended for a fixed period; content removed. |
| Severe, or part of a pattern | Permanent account ban and loss of access to purchased virtual items. |
| Illegal conduct | Permanent ban plus referral to law enforcement where we are legally able and appropriate. |
We review reports against these guidelines and our Terms of Service. We may remove content that violates them, and we may restrict or terminate the account responsible. Decisions are made by us at our discretion, and we aim to act promptly on reports involving imminent risk.
How quickly we act
- Imminent risk (threats of violence, content sexualising minors, apparent self-harm): we aim to act on these as a priority, and in any event within 24 hours.
- All other reports: we aim to review and act within 24 hours of receiving them.
- Where we remove content or restrict an account, we record the decision and the reason so it can be reviewed on appeal.
Automated enforcement
Alongside human review, we use automated systems to protect users at scale:
- How it works. If an account or a post receives a significant number of reports from different users within a short period, our systems may automatically restrict that account or hide that post, and flag it for human review. Repeatedly reported content from the same account can trigger an automatic restriction of that account.
- Every automated action is reviewed. Automation is a stopgap, not a verdict. Our team reviews each automated action, normally within 24 hours, and will reverse it if no violation exists.
- Automated actions are appealable. If an automated restriction was applied to you in error, appeal using the steps below and a human will reconsider.
- Single-source reports don't count. Reports are counted per unique reporting user, so nobody can restrict another person by reporting them repeatedly from one account.
Reporting an account you cannot access
If your account has been suspended and you cannot use the in-app report entry, open the Losta sign-in screen and tap the support icon in the top right corner to submit an appeal. You can also email support@yaokemon.com. Suspended users can always reach us this way — it does not require signing in.
Appeals
If you believe your account or content was actioned in error, email support@yaokemon.com within 30 days, using the address associated with the account, and explain why. We will review the decision and reply with the outcome. A ban for the zero-tolerance items above is not appealable.
Protecting minors
Losta is strictly for users aged 18 and over and we take underage use seriously. If you believe an account belongs to a minor, report it in the app or email support@yaokemon.com. We will investigate and remove the account.
Your own safety
- Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you met on Losta.
- Be careful about sharing personal information that identifies where you live or work.
- Meeting someone in person carries risks. Meet in a public place during the day, tell someone you trust, and arrange your own transport.
- If you feel unsafe during a call, end it and block the user.
